Needles SS26
Needles returns for Spring/Summer 2026 with a collection that continues its dialogue with American vintage filtered through a more abstract, expressive lens. Under the direction of Keizo Shimizu, familiar references are reworked into something less literal, more personal.
Silhouette plays a central role this season. Relaxed, layered forms create a sense of ease and movement, allowing each piece to sit naturally on the body rather than define it. It’s clothing that adapts to the wearer—quietly confident, never overdetermined. There’s a noticeable push in texture and pattern throughout the collection. Fabrics feel considered, tactile, and lived-in, while prints add just enough tension to keep things interesting. The balance is deliberate: statement without excess, nostalgia without imitation.
Our selection reflects what we feel Needles does best. A standout workwear set comprised of the zipped work jacket and H.D. painter pant arrives in a cotton-linen canvas, finished with sumi ink dye—giving the fabric a depth and irregularity that will only improve with wear. Alongside it, a new tracksuit, knitwear, and shirting round out the delivery, each piece offering its own interpretation of the brand’s evolving language. As always, it’s less about any single item and more about how it all comes together; an approach to dressing that values nuance, individuality, and longevity.
