Pile knitting is used on the bottom and is forming a three-dimensional structure. By using a special knitting machine and special stretch yarn, which are not used for ordinary socks, the socks are made to feel snug and absorbent. The yarn is a blend of German-made "dralon" acrylic fiber, which boasts high sweat absorbency, and cotton. The yarn itself is treated with a natural organic deodorant called "LonFresh," and is expected to have an anti-odor effect.
